1. How to Get an Account Manager (AM) / Seller Developer Registration Error: "This account is not eligible for seller developer registration. Currently, only sellers with an assigned account manager can register."

TikTok Shop Account Managers (AMs) are not a service sellers can directly apply for in the backend. Instead, the platform assigns AMs based on factors such as site, category, business scale, and store performance. Official materials also use phrasing like "if applicable" and "if your store has been assigned an AM." Here's what you can do:

1. Check if you already have an AM

Log in to Seller Center and check the top banner on the homepage, your notification center, your registration email, and in-platform messages to confirm whether an AM has been assigned to you.

Go to the Help Center in Seller Center, contact live support or submit a ticket, and clearly state:

You are requesting an Account Manager eligibility review for business growth, campaigns, affiliate creators, and advertising support.

2. Shop ID, operating site, and primary category
3. GMV, order volume, and growth rate over the past 30/90 days
4. Store rating, SPS score, and violation history
5. Your business plans for ads, livestreaming, and affiliate programs
6. Specific areas where you need AM support

Please note: Keeping your store Active, completing the new seller assessment period, and maintaining good SPS scores and fulfillment performance generally increases your chances of being identified as a priority merchant — but these are not officially published guarantees for AM assignment. Be cautious of third-party services that claim to "guarantee an official TikTok AM" for a fee.

Private App can only be authorized and bind to one shop ONLY (seller's own shop) . 7. I have an app under other categories, which is not 「App developer / Seller inhouse developer / TikTok Shop Seller」, do I get affected?

No, you won't be affected.

8. Are there any changes to my existing authorizations?

No, authorizations are still valid until the token is expired or your authorization is cancelled.

9. I have created another custom App to make sure new shops can authorize the App, what should I do with the existing App?

Existing App refers to App created in 「App developer / Seller inhouse developer / TikTok Shop Seller」)

• Plan A: you can maintain two Apps.
• Plan B: you can migrate historical authorizations to the new App. For migration, the historical shop should re-authorize the new App

10. What's the meaning of this error: "Sub-accounts are not eligible for seller developer registration. Please use an owner account and try again."

Only the seller's owner account can be linked to a Partner Center account. The account you're currently trying to link is a sub-account, which is not eligible for this registration.

11. What's the meaning of this error: This account is not supported on this site. Please visit TikTok Shop Global Partner Center to continue. / This account is not supported on this site. Please visit TikTok Shop US Partner Center to continue.

This error means you've accessed the wrong domain. Based on your Seller account information, your target market should be onboarded through a different site. For example, if your target market is US but you logged in through the Global Partner Center (partner.tiktokshop.com), you should switch to the US Partner Center (partner.us.tiktokshop.com) instead. Conversely, if your target market is outside the US and you logged in through the US Partner Center (partner.us.tiktokshop.com), you should switch to the Global Partner Center (partner.tiktokshop.com).
