For Philippines Market: Product Certification for Pest Control Category will to be changed from FPA to FDA

Starting from 22 September 2026, partners will be required to change from FPA Handler's License to FDA Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) when listing or editing products by using API for Pest Control category. This information will be put into the "certifications" parameter in the API.

The updates of the requirements apply to cross border and local to local sellers in the Philippines market.

Developers with applications that use Create Product, Edit Product, and Partial Edit Product

The updates of the requirements apply to all versions of the related APIs

Without this product certification change sellers will not be able to create or update products. Use the Get Category Rules API to check what certification requirements are mandatory for specific categories when using Create Product, Edit Product and Partial Edit Product API.
