§1 [Important][Action Required] Regular Credential Reset For All Developers

[Applicable for all Open Platform developers]

Dear Developer,

Kindly take note of the following changes effective 19 March 2024.

As part of Shopee’s long-term goal of strengthening Data Security, Shopee Open Platform is introducing a Live Partner Key validity period to protect developers and minimize the chances of data leakage.

The details are as follows:

  1. Under App List a new field called Live Partner Key Expire Time has been added.

  2. Click on App List > App Detailed Page

Refer to the field called Live Partner Key Effective Time

Key points:

1.For existing Apps, the first effective date of the Live Partner Key will be randomly set between 19 Jan 2024 to 18 March 2024.

2.Newly created Apps will use the Go Live Time as the Live Partner Key Effective Time.

3.Calculation logic of Live Partner Key Expire Time:

a. Live Partner Key Expire Time = Live Partner Key Effective Time + 180 days (natural days)

b. Example: If Live Partner Key Effective Time = 12/03/24 18:15 (UTC+08:00), then Live Partner Key Expire Time = 08/09/24 23:59 (UTC+08:00).

4.The hours and minutes in the Live Partner Key Expire Time are automatically converted to the time zone of the developer's region at 23:59 UTC+08:00 when the developer registers for a Shopee Open Platform account

a. Example: If the Live Partner Key Effective Time = 12/03/24 17:15 (UTC+07:00), then Live Partner Key Expire Time = 08/09/24 22:59 (UTC+07:00)

  1. Click the Edit button in the upper right corner of the App Detailed Page to reset the Partner Key. Be sure to reset the Live Partner Key before the expiration time, or you cannot make API calls.

Shopee Open Platform will send reminder emails to the developer's registered email address and recipient list email address 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before the Live Partner Key expires to remind the developer. Meanwhile, a corresponding countdown reminder will be displayed in the Console. As shown in the figure below:

This enhancement will help Shopee enhance our data security measures and ensure a safe marketplace for all Shopee users. Please raise an Open Platform Ticket in our Support Center if you have further questions or require further assistance.

请注意以下更新将于2024年3月19日生效。

作为Shopee加强数据安全的长期目标的一部分，Shopee开放平台推出了Live Partner Key有效期，以保护开发者并最大限度地减少数据泄漏的机会。

具体更新如下：

  1. Console-> App List 下新增名为Live Partner Key Expire Time 的新字段

  2. 点击App List> App Detailed Page

可查看字段 Live Partner Key Effective Time

说明：

  1. 存量App的首个生效日期将随机设定为功能上线前60天的任意一天，即2024年1月19日到2024年3月18日。

  2. 新创建的App 将以Go Live时间作为App的Live Partner Key Effective Time。

  3. Live Partner Key Expire Time计算逻辑：

a. Live Partner Key Expire Time=Live Partner Key Effective Time+180天(自然日)。

b.若某个App: Live Partner Key Effective Time= 12/03/24 18:15(UTC+08:00)，则Live Partner Key Expire Time=08/09/24 23:59 (UTC+08:00)

  1. Live Partner Key Expire Time中时钟和分钟将以UTC+08:00的23时59分自动换算到对应开发者注册Shopee Open Platform账号时所选的地区的时区。

a. 如果Live Partner Key Effective Time= 12/03/24 17:15(UTC+07:00)，则Live Partner Key Expire Time=08/09/24 22:59 (UTC+07:00）

  1. 在App Detailed Page点击右上角Edit 按键可重置Partner Key。 请务必在Live Partner Key有效期前重置，否则将无法调用API。

平台将会在Live Partner Key到期前30天，7天，1天分别像开发者注册邮箱以及收件人列表邮箱发送提醒邮件。同时，在Console也会有相应倒计时提醒。如下图：

这一改进将帮助Shopee加强数据安全措施，确保所有Shopee用户在市场中的安全。如果您有其他问题或需要进一步帮助，请在我们的支持中心提交工单。
