Launch of the Service Partner Program

Dear Developers,

We are launching the Service Partner Program for all Third-party Partner Platforms (ISVs) registered on Shopee Open Platform. As the program aims to reward excellence in application security, API performance, and commercial achievements, ISVs who do well will be endorsed by Shopee as Premium Service Partners. However, do note that ISVs enrolled in the program who perform poorly will be penalized.

All developers who have a valid Open Platform account will be automatically enrolled in the Service Partner Program unless informed otherwise, and you will be notified via email on a quarterly basis if your performance qualifies you to become a Premium Service Partner.

Here are some key points that you should take note of regarding the new program:

1. ISVs will need to have a valid Open Platform account by the end of the quarter to be eligible for the upcoming enrollment.

2. You will be assessed on a quarterly basis for your application security, API activity, and commercial performance.

3. Commercial performance will be assessed at the market level, and your localized rewards will also be provided at the market level.

Actions required to become a Premium Service Partner

1. You are required to submit a Penetration Test report performed by a CREST-registered Penetration Tester.

2. You are also expected to utilize our v2.0 API ONLY for your APP(s).

3. You should submit your IT assets via the Open Platform Console and ensure that your IT assets are up to date at all times.

4. You must not be violating any of our Partner Platform Rules.

5. You must have excellent commercial performance that provides strong business value to Shopee.

To be eligible for the upcoming 2022 Q3 rewards, we strongly encourage you to perform the actions above by 31 May 2022. For more information on the program, please refer to the Service Partner Program page.
