§1 NEW Platform Partner Rules
Hi Developers,
The Shopee Open Platform is now renewed with a more user-friendly interface and updated policies. Here are some of the key changes you should take note of:

The “Third Party Platform Policy” and “Shopee Open Platform Penalty System” will be replaced with our NEW “Platform Partner Rules”.

The Platform Partner Rules includes Shopee’s expectations of ALL developers with access to Open Platform, and penalties that may be imposed if a developer is found to violate our Platform Rules.

We have added new prohibited behaviors that are NOT allowed as Open Platform users, such as engaging in web-crawling activities, Chat API abuse, and brushing activities. These activities are prohibited whether through the use of Open API or otherwise.
All Open Platform users should familiarize yourself and your team with the new Platform Partner Rules to help us build a fair and safe marketplace. Thank you.
