The Shop Registration service category empowers TSPs to streamline the process of referring sellers to TikTok Shop through automated referral link generation and link management. The service category is open to both Local-to-Local (operating locally in the U.S.) and Cross-Border (operating outside the U.S.) partners.

Please follow the steps below to complete the service application.

§6 Step 1: Apply for Shop Registration Service in "My Account - Profile"

  1. Initiate Service Category Application
  2. Log in to TikTok Shop Partner Center (TTSPC). In the left-hand sidebar, navigate to My Account > Profile.
  3. On the Profile page, switch to the Service category tab. Click the "+ Category & market" button to start applying for a new service category.

  1. Select Category & Market

In the “Start Business” > “Category & market” section

  • Registration region & Company registration region: Confirm as “United States”
  • Target market: Select “United States”.
  • Category & market: Under “TikTok Shop Partner”, choose "Outsourced Operations", then check "Shop registration" as the specific service category.

  1. Fill Out Application Details
  2. Proceed to the “Fill out details” step, fill relevent information
  3. After filling in all fields, click the "Submit" button. You’ll see a "Submitted successfully" confirmation.

  1. Check Application Status

Return to the Profile > Service category tab. Track the “Shop registration” application status: it shows Reviewing during processing and updates to Approved once confirmed. Once approved, TSPs can use the Shop Registration service as per the feature’s functionality.

§7 Step 2: Create a custom shop registration service

  1. Initiate Custom Service Creation
  2. Log in to TikTok Shop Partner Center (TTSPC). In the left-hand sidebar, click on App & Service. Then click the "+ Category & market" button
  3. Select the Custom service type (public not available now).
  4. Click the “Service category” dropdown, choose Outsourced Operation, then select "Shop registration" from its sub - options.

  1. Configure Service Details
  2. Fill in the necessary fields
  3. Click the Create button to submit the custom Shop Registration service setup.

  1. Publish the Service
  2. Click the Publish button in the top-right corner.
  3. In the pop-up confirmation, verify the target market

  1. Get Referral Links
  2. Once published, the service status updates to “On”
  3. Two URLs are generated: one for local sellers and one for cross-border sellers.

  1. Manage Service Activation/Deactivation
  2. Click the ... icon next to “Target sellers”.
  3. Choose Deactivate to disable the service.
  4. URL unchanged when TSP deactivate or re-publish same service

  1. The position of the "+ Category & Market/+类目与市场" button has changed slightly. And partners can only apply for Shop Registration Service from the "profile/个人信息主页"
