§1 Overview

This page explains how developers apply for the TikTok Shop Affiliate Creator Collaboration category and which violations can lead to termination. Creator Collaboration is an approval-gated affiliate integration category. Do not describe this category as beta-only unless the Partner Center category page or the product operations owner explicitly confirms that status. As of July 7, 2026, affiliate API groups are available in the OpenAPI reference, but access still requires category review and API scope approval. The onboarding and termination rules can change as the business develops. Partner Center, the latest API reference, and written guidance from the TikTok Shop Open Platform team take precedence over this page. Public app publishing is a separate process. After category and API access are approved, public apps must still complete app testing, app review, listing, and compliance review before they can go online. See Publish and list a public App.

§2 Scope and Category

This rule applies to developers who want to provide Creator Collaboration or Affiliate software to TikTok Shop merchants, creators, or partners. The original draft limited the scope to developers registered in the United States. The market table below shows that the category is not US-only. Eligibility depends on seller market, seller type, and Partner Center approval. If your market or seller type is not listed as open, contact your partner manager or submit a Partner Center ticket before building against the APIs. Use the current Partner Center category path:

TikTok Shop Partner Center > App Developer > Customer Engagement > Creator collaborations

This is the same affiliate business area referenced by the Affiliate integration guide. Keep the naming aligned as Customer Engagement > Creator collaborations or Customer Engagement > Affiliate, depending on the latest UI label. Original screenshot: Partner Center category path
