§1 Checklist

Once you are ready to launch your public app, complete the launch reviews in the same order used across the app launch documentation:

  1. Pass registration review.
  2. Complete and submit the language listing form for each target market.
  3. Initiate and complete app review.
  4. Pass compliance and legal review when required by your app scope, data access, market, or category.
  5. Complete beta testing only when required by the App review process.
  6. Publish and list your app on the TikTok Shop App and Service Store.

Use this order as the canonical public app launch path. If another launch guide describes the same steps, it should use the same names and sequence: registration review -> language listing review -> app review -> compliance and legal review -> conditional beta testing -> publish and list. For Connector definitions, beta testing trigger conditions, and seller authorization limit rules, do not rely on this guide as the source of truth. See App review process, where these operational rules are maintained. Image

§2 Contact and support channels

For review questions, use the Partner Center support ticket path as the primary auditable channel. Use email for market-specific follow-up when your partner manager, review process, or support team asks you to do so.

§3 Pass registration review

Registration review confirms that your public app can proceed through the public app launch path. Complete this step from the app checklist in Partner Center before submitting language listings or app review materials. If the registration review step is not visible, confirm that:

  • Your app type is Public App.
  • Your developer onboarding status is complete for the target market.
  • The app category and target seller type are configured correctly.

If the step is still unavailable, open a Partner Center support ticket using How to contact support.

§4 Set the listing language for your app

After registration review is complete, submit a language listing form for each target market. The language listing determines how your app appears to sellers in the TikTok Shop App and Service Store. Completing and submitting the language listing form initiates a review for that market. You must complete one language listing form for each market your app targets. Primary path: On the app and service detail page, go to Target Sellers, click the target market name, and then click Edit. Backup path: If you are already working from the publish panel, click Edit next to Publish. Use this only as a shortcut; the Target Sellers path is the more stable path because it starts from the market being edited. Image

Notes

  • If you have already completed a language listing form for another market, you can use Translate and import from to auto-fill the listing form. Review machine-translated content before submitting.
  • You can click Save at the top of the form to save progress before submission.
#

§7 Complete the listing form

Complete the listing form

For each market where you want to list your app:

  1. In Service overview, provide your app name, logo, short description, and at least one main image or video.
  2. In Detail introduction, provide three key benefits, additional images, a detailed app description, and supported integrations.
  3. In Contact & support, provide a valid support email address and optional phone number, website, FAQ, or user guide link.
  4. Click Next listing to submit this listing for review and move to the next listing, if applicable.

Note: After you submit the form, you cannot edit it during review. If the listing is rejected, edit the language listing form and resubmit it.

#

§8 Listing field reference

The following field tables are the canonical reference for public app listing fields. Other pages, such as edit-your-app, should link to or mirror these field constraints instead of maintaining a separate, inconsistent field list.

§13 Initiate and complete the app review form

Fill out the App Review form to initiate the app review process. Primary path: On the app and service detail page, scroll to the App Review section and click Submission materials for review. Backup path: If you are already using the publish panel, hover over Publish on the app and service detail page and click Modify. Use this as a shortcut only; the App Review section is the more direct and stable entry point because it shows the review status and submission materials in the same area. Image Complete the following steps to submit the form:

  1. In API Scope Information, confirm that the APIs integrated with your app are listed correctly. Modify the APIs if needed.
  2. In Product testing, provide the information needed for TikTok Shop to test and review your product, such as your product URL, test account, and testing instructions.
  3. In Product screenshots, explain your app's features, capabilities, and intended seller audience. Include screenshots and, optionally, videos.
  4. In Required Product Design, provide the design document you used to plan your app.

§14 Connector, beta testing, and authorization-limit rules

Some app categories or launch paths require beta testing or additional review controls. This guide does not maintain the definition of Connector, the exact beta testing trigger conditions, or seller authorization limit rules. For the latest rules and required actions, see App review process. If beta testing is required for your app, complete it before publishing and listing the app.

#

§16 Publish and list your app

After you pass registration review, submit and pass all required language listing reviews, pass app review, complete compliance and legal review, and complete conditional beta testing if required, you have finished the steps needed to publish and list your public app. You can check the publishing status of your app on the app and service detail page.

  • If TikTok Shop approves your app, it will be made available on the App and Service Store for sellers to authorize. TikTok Shop will also provide an authorization link that you can copy and share with sellers individually.
  • If TikTok Shop rejects your app, click Edit to view the rejection reason, make adjustments, and resubmit.
#

§17 Add new markets for your online public app

For an online public app, if you add new markets to your account, you can list the existing public app in the new markets by clicking Add market on the detail page. Image When adding markets, complete the corresponding language listings and submit them for separate market reviews. After the market review passes, the public app will be listed to the relevant target sellers on the TikTok Shop Seller Center App Store.
