Significant Open Platform Updates

Dear Developers,

Please note the following changes:

Please note the following updates on the Open Platform Console.

As part of Shopee’s long-term goal of strengthening Data Security, Shopee Open Platform is introducing a contact email validity period to protect developers and minimize the chances of data leakage.

The details are as follows:

Under Console->Personal Center-> Recipient List

1. Add a Verify action that will be used to verify the Registrant role every 180 natural days, Shopee will send a reminder email to your developer email address 10 days before the expiration date, and send a verification email on the expiration date. Logging into the Console can also trigger verification at any time.

2. For the Contact role, Shopee will automatically trigger the verification every 365 days, and a verification email will be sent to the contact email address. It can also support triggers by users when the email is not valid anymore after 24 hours.

Note: For the Registrant or Contact role, if the recipient does not verify the email after 24 valid verification periods, please log in to the Console to trigger again.

2.[Applicable for all Open Platform developers]

To further standardize the onboarding and auditing process for developers on the Shopee Open Platform, we have added a new feature to allow all existing Third-party Partner Platform (ISV) developers to upload supporting documents from the Shopee Open Platform Console under Personal Center-> Account Information.

Including three parts:

1. Uploaded Signed Declaration

2. Live Product Screenshots

3)Live Test Account Credentials

Note:

1. For all Taiwan new onboarding developers including ISV and seller, you will need to upload valid supporting documents in the onboarding flow.

2)For all Taiwan existing ISV type developers will need to upload support documents from Shopee Open Platform Console->Personal Center-> Account Information.

This enhancement will help Shopee enhance our data security measures and ensure a safe marketplace for all Shopee users. If you have further questions, please raise an Open Platform Ticket in our Support Center.

作为Shopee加强数据安全的长期目标的一部分，Shopee开放平台将引入联系人邮件有效期，以保护开发者并最大限度地减少数据泄漏的机会。

具体更新如下：

1.在Console->Personal Center-> Recipient List

添加 "Verify" 操作，每 180 个自然日需要验证注册人（Registrant）邮件，将提前10天（即170天）发送一封提醒邮件到您的开发者邮箱。过期当天也会发送一封验证邮件到您的开发者邮箱。登录Console可随时触发验证邮件发送。

2. 对于联系人(Contact)角色，平台会每隔 365 个自然日自动触发验证，并向联系人电子邮件发送一封验证邮件。当验证邮件在 24 小时后失效后，支持用户登陆Console->Personal Center-> Recipient List 再次触发验证邮件。

Note: 对于Registrant或Contact角色，如果收件人在 24 小时有效验证期后仍未验证电子邮件，请登录控制台再次触发。

为了进一步规范Shopee开放平台开发者的入驻及审核流程，我们增加了一项新功能，需要所有存量的第三方合作伙伴平台（ISV）开发者从Shopee开放平台Console->Personal Center-> Account Information上传支持文件。

包括以下三个部分：

1. Uploaded Signed Declaration

2. Live Product Screenshots

3)Live Test Account Credentials

Note:

1）对于所有新入驻台湾开发者包括 ISV 和卖家，需要在入驻流程中上传有效的支持文件。

2）存量的ISV类型台湾开发者将需要从Shopee开放平台Console->Personal Center-> Account Information上传支持文件。
