§1 【TikTok Shop Cross-border Partner】 Onboarding - Common Reasons of Rejection

This document is intended solely for TikTok Shop's cross-border partners as a self-assessment guide to identify and address common issues that may lead to the rejection of onboarding applications.

#

§2 Business License and ID

1.1 Insufficient Information

Including but not limited to:

  • Partial or incomplete images (e.g., not the entire document is shown);
  • Documents with creased corners, causing information to be obscured;
  • Blurry or low-resolution images;
  • Missing back side of the legal representative’s ID card;
  • Non-original or altered documents.

1.2 Expired Qualification Including but not limited to: An expired ID card or one that is nearing expiration; An expired business license or one that is nearing expiration. Note: Qualifications are considered "nearing expiration" if their validity is less than 30 days.

1.3 Qualifications Held for Less Than One Year The submission date in the partner system is less than one year from the establishment date on the business license.

1.4 Unrelated Business Qualifications Including but not limited to: The company's business qualifications are not related to the applied category (e-commerce operations).

1.5 Inconsistent Entity Information Including but not limited to: A mismatch between the company name on the business license and the name provided in the application (please include the original Chinese name and provide a Chinese translation if necessary); Discrepancies in the legal representative's information compared to the business license.

1.6 Repeated Onboarding Including but not limited to: Using the same business license, mobile phone number, or email address across multiple applications; Overlapping information with high-risk associated partners who have previously been, or are currently pending, removal from the platform.

1.7 Operational Risks Including but not limited to: The business license number is in the process of being canceled, or the legal representative status is flagged as abnormal.

1.8 Unverifiable Business License Number Including but not limited to: The business license number cannot be verified due to input errors, such as incorrect entries or confusion between similar characters (e.g., "0" and "O"; "1" and "I").

§3 Operational Experience

2.1 Screenshots Not Taken Directly from the Account Dashboard Including but not limited to: Photos taken of the screen with another device, rather than a direct screenshot (from either PC or mobile); Screenshots that do not meet category-specific requirements; Screenshots displaying the account's public view instead of the account management dashboard.

2.2 Missing Account Information Including but not limited to: Incomplete screenshots; Screenshots without visible login account details; Missing or incomplete account information.

2.3 Non-Compliance with Platform Operational Standards Including but not limited to: Inappropriate content in LIVE sessions.

§4 Company Introduction

3.1 Incomplete Office Environment Display Including but not limited to: Missing photos of the main entrance or reception area (e.g., no company logo visible); Mismatched entity information (e.g., the office logo does not match the company name or logo on the application); Non-original images (e.g., photos with watermarks from other platforms).

Requirements Three photos:

  • Reception area with company logo
  • General office area
  • Live-streaming or meeting rooms

One video:

  • A single, continuous, unedited video shot from a straightforward angle, clearly showing the surroundings.
  • The video must include the company logo on the main entrance, office area, live-streaming rooms, and meeting rooms.

3.2 Office Environment Does Not Match the Company's Described Size Including but not limited to: Office capacity does not align with the company's description (e.g., the number of workspaces or employees does not match the company's introduction).

3.3 Missing Company Operations Description Including but not limited to: No description of the company's main business activities.

3.4 Missing Company Showcases Including but not limited to: No showcase materials provided, or submitted examples are not related to the company.

3.5 Logo Inconsistency with Application Company Including but not limited to: For example, the logo says "ABC Company," but the application is for "XAS Company."

3.6 Account Used for External Promotion Including but not limited to: Account names containing email addresses, phone numbers, company addresses, or other contact information.

3.7 Inconsistent Entity Information The company name displayed at the front desk or storefront does not match the information provided in the application.

  • If the storefront name is in Chinese, it must match the company name on the business license.
  • If the storefront name is in English, the information in the "partner_name" field must either overlap with or be identical to the storefront name.
  • If the storefront name is bilingual, the Chinese name should match the company name on the business license, while the English name must overlap with or be identical to the "partner_name" field in the application.

3.8 Company Size Does Not Meet Onboarding Requirements Including but not limited to: Office capacity or number of live-streaming rooms does not meet onboarding requirements; Photos are taken outside working hours, showing no staff present.

3.9 Low-Quality Live-streaming Rooms Including but not limited to: Live-streaming rooms are poorly equipped or not actively in use.

§5 Impersonation of Official TikTok Shop or Other TikTok Affiliated Entities

4.1 Office Decor Featuring TikTok Shop or Affiliated Logos Including but not limited to: Displaying TikTok Shop or affiliated company logos or text in areas such as the company's reception, signage, or glass door stickers.

4.2 Materials Featuring TikTok Shop or Affiliated Logos Including but not limited to: Use of homophonic company names (including account names) or materials that resemble official TikTok logos or text; Inclusion of TikTok logos or text in company introduction slides or promotional materials.
