This introduction provides an overview of new product features designed for TAP Agencies to manage sample requests submitted by creators across various campaigns. It also highlights frequently asked questions to ensure effective utilization of sample management features.

Login to TikTok Shop Partner Center as a TAP Agency, click the "Creator Management" menu, and select "Manage samples". You can search for sample requests by Product ID/name, Campaign ID/name, Creator username.
On the "To review" tab, TAP Agencies can approve/reject sample requests submitted by creators for Agency initiated campaigns, TikTok Exclusive campaigns, and Seller initiated campaigns.

On the "To review" tab, you can review and approve sample requests submitted by creators:
Click "Approve" button to approve sample requests made by creators within 72 hours.
"Approve" button will be disabled when the product is out of stock, or the free sample limit has been reached, or the campaign has ended.
Reject sample requests made by creators only after communicating with creators to prevent missed opportunities.
Creators will be notified when you reject the sample requests.
Creators can re-submit sample requests for the sample product.
Click the IM icon to start chatting with the creators.
Select "Ask this product" to share the sample product link via IM.

On any of the tabs on the Manage samples page, you can click the product name to review product details, and click the campaign name to review campaign details.
Sample availability information:
For TikTok Exclusive campaigns, sample availability is represented as the available campaign budget ($).
For Agency and Seller campaigns, sample availability is represented by the remaining sample quantity (count).

§6 Review all sample requests

Review all sample requests

All sample requests, including those from campaign types that don’t require Agency approval, will be consolidated under the "All" tab.

Sample requests made by Agencies under Creators' authorization are included for tracking shipping status and content creation status.
TAP Agencies don't have access to manage Global Selling (GS) sample requests. While GS campaign sample requests and statuses are included, Agencies cannot approve/reject these requests or access sellers' contact information.
Navigate to the "Ready to ship" tab, click "Contact seller" to access the seller's contact info and proactively nudge them to ship the samples promptly.

Navigate to the "Shipped" tab, click "View logistics" to view shipping info and updates.
Navigate to the "Content pending" tab, click the IM icon to start chatting with creators and actively nudge them to create content showcasing the product through either LIVE or short videos.
Navigate to the "Completed" tab, click "View content" to review short videos or LIVE replay videos, as well as key content performance metrics.
Navigate to the "Canceled" tab, and find all the rejected, expired, unavailable, or unfulfilled sample requests here.

Creators can now request samples for all campaign types, as long as they meet the eligibility criteria for sample requests specific to each campaign. TAP Agencies are encouraged to prompt Creators to request samples directly, as this enhances sample management efficiency and match rates. By allowing Creators to handle requests independently, TAP Agencies can avoid delays caused by waiting for Creator authorization and eliminate the need to speculate on specific product variants Creators wish to showcase.

Creators can go to the TikTok Shop Creator Center, navigate to the Affiliate partner Product list, and find the extra commission earnings when creators join a TAP campaign (compared to the open plan commissions) displayed on the product card above the product price.
Click the "gift" icon on the top right corner of the Product list page to enter the "Manage samples" page.

Click the "Free sample" tab to review and manage all sample requests.

If a sample request is under TAP Agency review, the Agency's name will be visible on the product card as "Managed by XXXXX".
Click the product card to track the sample request approval status, shipment updates, and fulfillment timeline (content posting). Click the "Post" button to post content directly from this page.
Request samples:
Click on a product card with a "Free sample" label, find the earning details and start requesting a free sample by selecting the product variant and entering the address info.
Sample approval and shipment status will be updated after a sample request is submitted.
The product will be added to Creator's Showcase automatically once a sample request is submitted.

Can Creators make a sample request for the same product if TAP Agencies have already done so on their behalf?
No, if a TAP Agency requests a sample on behalf of Creators with their authorization, the sample will be automatically approved (unless the sample budget limit is reached) and moved to the "Ready to ship" status. Once approved, Creators can no longer request samples for the same products.
How to tell if a sample request needs TAP Agency approval?
++For Creators and Sellers:++ TAP Agency's name will be displayed on the product card as "Managed by XXXXX" on the Sample requests page, if a sample request is under TAP Agency review.
++For TAP Agencies:++ navigate to TikTok Shop Partner Center - Creator Management - Sample Management, click the "To review" tab to find all sample requests submitted by Creators that need TAP Agency approval.
Why are TAP Agencies not able to approve/reject some of the sample requests displayed on the TTSPC Creator Management - Sample Management page?
TAP Agencies cannot approve/reject sample requests for Global selling campaigns, and will not have access to the seller's contact information in these cases.
Sample requests submitted by TAP Agencies with creator authorization don't need to be approved.
Why are TAP Agencies not able to find Sellers' info for some sample requests?
TAP Agencies cannot approve/reject sample requests for Global selling campaigns, and will not have access to the seller's contact information in these cases.
Can TAP Agencies approve/reject sample requests on Campaign details - Sample management page?
No, TAP Agencies can only review and approve/reject sample requests on the Creator Management - Manage samples page. However, TAP Agencies can order samples on the Campaign details - Sample management page (creator authorization is needed).
