The updates below on AWBs are only applicable to developers who provide customized AWBs.

To enhance logistics efficiency and expedite order processing, it's crucial that all Air Waybills (AWBs) are standardized in accordance with the official Shopee Xpress guidelines.

Please ensure that all AWBs for Shopee Xpress strictly follow the official specifications. It is your responsibility to verify that all required components are clearly visible on each AWB to avoid delays or processing issues.

Fields required for customized Air Waybills (AWB)

After a detailed assessment of the customized AWBs that you’re currently using, certain mandatory fields are not found or are optional inclusions in the AWB. Please take note of the mandatory fields that has to be included in all customized AWBs:

1. Do I need to follow the sample AWB as shown above when designing the SPX AWB?

Shopee recommends referring to our standard AWB and following the format to ensure that all mandatory fields are included and displayed in the right locations. Customization is allowed so long as changes do not violate any of the guidelines explicitly communicated regarding layout and sizing.

2. What should I do if some of the mandatory fields are returned as empty fields in the response parameters?

If a mandatory field is returned as an empty field, then you do not need to include it in your customized AWBs.

3. Do I need to include the mandatory fields above if you do not have it in the standard SPX AWB?

No, you do not need to include it if Shopee’s standard AWB does not have it as well.

4. Does Shopee provide QR code and barcode images?

No, you need to create the QR code and barcode images using the tracking numbers provided by the logistics partner.
