[Action Required] Declare your IT assets on Open Platform

Hi Developers,

To streamline IT assets collection from our partners, we have launched a feature to collect your IT assets directly from Open Platform. You may access this new feature through the Open Platform Console.

Action Required

Please declare all your IT assets directly on the Open Platform Console in accordance with Clause 8.1 and 8.2 of the Shopee Open Platform Data Protection Policy by 29 April 2022. Please take note of the following:

1. Your IT assets are tagged according to your APP(s), and you are required to declare your IT assets for ALL your Live APP(s).

2. If you are unable to provide your IT assets for any reason, you are also required to fill in your reason(s).

3. Please take note that having dynamic IP address(es) is not a valid reason for non-declaration. You will still need to update your IP address(es) every time it is changed.

4. If you have previously shared your IT assets via the Third-party Partner Platform (ISV) Update Form, you are still required to perform the above action.

By sharing information such as IP addresses and domain names, it will help us better understand if your data security measures are in place, and ensure a safe marketplace for all Shopee users.

Please take note that Shopee reserves the right to impose penalties or restrictions to your APP(s) if the mandatory actions are not completed by the deadline mentioned.
